    5 ingredients for a healthy DIY hair mask

    There are quite a few homemade hair care recipes around the internet to combat damaged hair. Out of most of the articles, I noticed a few ingredients that are great for combating dryness. A lot of the heat from tools, dry weather or hot water from the shower can cause damage and it is a good idea to give these DIY homemade hair care recipes a try/ Have you ever considered the benefits that banana, avocado, egg, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar can have on your hair? These are just five ingredients that can go a long way in your everyday homemade hair care routine. 

    An avocado mask

    An avocado mask by itself moisturizes the hair. It does great for combating damage done to hair. So mixing up a puree and adding other ingredients like olive oil will do great to make your hair appear softer after fighting off the affects of heat damage. 

    Banana - Avocado Mask 

    Banana is also a moisturizing agent. If you mix it together with avocado, egg, and olive oil you will greatly moisturize your hair in this DIY homemade hair recipe. Egg also does great for cleansing the hair, which will help make your hair feel clean after any wash.

    Try adding apple cider vinegar to the mix for a second step to the routine. According to Wide Open Eats, since ACV is so acidic it prevents dandruff and dry scalp. Diluting it with water will also after every shampoo and conditioner wash is a added benefit to give your hair shine. Its worth a try.
